Walleye on Lake Jacomo

Does anyone know of any good walleye holes on Jacomo? I love jigging for walleye and would love to get one. Also, I'm new to the area do they allow ice fishing on Lake Jacomo?Continue

Hi, all! Looking for a fishing buddy. I like to fish anything that bites. Usually will catch and release unless it's crappie or if someone will please kill the catfish...I don't like it when it's still moving, LOL!

Hi Heather, Most of the Lakes around the area are dog friendly, but yes, alot of fisherman don't like to fish where someone has a dog swimming in the water. (lol, I don't mind!)
I like to take my dogs out to James A Reed or Lone Jack lakes, not as many people fish those lakes.

Almost forgot...going to Bass Pro for the first time this weekend to get stocked up for bass fishing (also first time). I've been using what I call "greenies", just a hook with the little rubbery bright breen bug on it. I catch little one and two pounders...looking to catch the monster. Suggestions?

I'm new to fishing. Fish only private ponds so far. Always looking for a place my dog and I can fish. Are there dog friendly public fishing areas? I know some people don't like a dog in the water while they're fishing...doesn't seem to stop the channel cat from biting imy worms in the ponds though!

Do not waste your time at Prarie Lee unless you want to catch perch.

If anyone wants to get into some channel cats Longview is the hot spot. If you can throw a net cut shad is the ticket. Forget about frozen shad, they know.
