I love Marthas Vineyard and have been wanting to get up there and go fishing, def going to try to plan a trip up there this summer...its soo beautiful bait my own need the bf to do it...hahah...thanks for the advice though....

By the way the jetties are rock piles and easy to fish. Not like the monsterous jetties at the jersey shore. There far apart but its worth it.

If you like shore fishing you need to get up by Marthas Vineyard during the summer. Get some live eels and find a jetty at sunrise. Have your bf bait your hook. By the time he baits his you"ll have one on. Its really cool. First come first serve. Get a castmaster lure in silver and blue once the sun comes up they move out. I got lucky throwing one. I got my bait at the "Bite me" tackle shop. Bought a hat and shirt just because. Lol

Yes this was in Atlantic highlands New Jersey, very fun day....i love fishing for stripers...and yes i had dinner a couple times with those two....I also caught one of the shore that day for the first time on Sandy Hook Beach

Wow! I fish the Hudson up north by the Tappanzee. Every once in a while I pull one out like that but you got twins. Good job! I guess you had striper for dinner huh!
