The bass that got away

First of all I will tell you the story. Today as in September 8th 2008 I went fishing in a nice sized local pond, keep in mind this pond usually only has one pound fish in it... Today was a very clear day i could see in the water from shore a good 10ft with my polarized sunglasses.. I'm fishing having a good day then all of the sudden two NICE bass at least 4 pounds minimum came in front of me and i could see them. The one fish went away leaving the other pig still there.. A little pricey for a BPS rod, but worth it.

Hey Adam. How's it going? For frogs I use a Bass Pro Shops Nitro Rod - 7' 2" extra heavy. It's a great rod. The reel is a Daiwa Tierra and the line is 50 lb Spiderwire Invisibraid. Because frogs are used mainly in heavy weeds, lilly pads etc. you need a lot of power. I also use this rod to throw heavy jigs and sometimes for texas-rigged worms in heavy cover.

Please do Adam I would love to see it, I took a pretty good look at what they had as fingerlings and juviniles, so it would be very interesting. They said that it was in a few states already but I thought it was just the east & west coast areas. Being here in the middle, so to say, I hope it takes a very long time before they get here.
