I think I have my profile set up the way I want it, at least for now. I run a bass fishing blog on Blogger. I posted some links below. I'm on Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter.
A little bit about me
I'm a recent med school grad. I primarily fish for largemouth bass on Cross Lake in Shreveport, Louisiana. There are a few other bodies of water in the area that I still need to learn my way around. I post reports on my blog and write articles that I think might help anglers at all skill levels.
More about the blog
I started blogging to have a place to talk fishing without having to put up with ranting and raving right wingers on fishing forums. I could also do without the religious excess among anglers, but that's just my personal opinion. It's closely tied to the political animosity, so it deserves to be mentioned.
The Mission: In addition to providing an atmosphere free of the politics of hate, I hope to inspire the online angler community to turn down the dial on right wing fringe rhetoric and frown on behavior which will do more harm than good to our sport.
If you disagree with my feelings on this issue, you are in no way obligated to add me as your friend.
As for GetReeled, I'm not going to go on any kind of adding frenzy. If you'd like to add me to your friends list, be my guest. I'll likely steer clear of the forum. There are probably members here that would love nothing more than to have at me in a not so nice fashion. I want to avoid those folks. I am not here to argue and the forum strikes me as a place where people like to argue and/or complain. If that sounds like you, simply ignore me and live your life. Simple misunderstandings are not worth the headache of explaining anymore and I'd rather surround myself with folks who like to get along. The groups do look interesting and I plan on checking them out. I already joined the Bass Enthusiasts group. I'll also be adding photos and fishing reports from time to time.
That's it for now.
