Like you we haven't had as much time to fish this year but Nancy and I went up to Limmerick a couple of weeks ago. It poured all day but we didn't care. We were too busy hauling in bass after bass. No lunkers but a lot of fun.

Well the opener was a bust for Nancy and I. We went to Brighton at midnight after being up most of the day. The wind and waves were high and the steering on the boat was acting up. It was so stiff we could hardly control the boat. It was supposed to be greased at the shop but it was dry as a bone. By Saturday around noon we were worn out and hadn't even had a strike. We came home, went to bed and slept to Sunday afternoon. Oh well. Every day can't be a winner. I've greased the steering unit and we have all summer to make up for a bad start.
