If it were possible to do nothing in life but fish, I would. My dad taught me to fish and used to get me up at 3 and 4 am to go hit the river. I've won first place in two amature cat fishing tournaments and second in one. I like cat fishing but I'd like to improve my bass fishing skills. I just graduated from college and was a Resident Assistant for a year. During that time I organized three fishing trips with some of my residence. Even after I quite the RA position some of my old residents came to me and asked me to lead some more trips. They LOVED it!
I notice that you were from Alpine and a guess that you pretty much would have to travel to Amistad to fish. It's a long haul over there. Up the Pecos river is good for catfish. There is some good bass fishing up the Devil's River too.
Hello. I'm new here. Could use a few pointers on how to navigate. Also anyone in West Texas area that has fished Lake Amistad know any good locations on the lake to catch some decent action? My dad and I have been trying to plan a trip but I need some help.
