yea we are on the same page. i have some boilies my old man sent me over from the u.k, i am yet to use them here in canada. i figure the carp here have never seen them so they may be a little shy. the weather is just about co-operating to alow me to go out carp fishing for the first time this year! i am very excited. i too use baitrunners and i love to fish the method feeder and i tie all my own hairs, i'm a big fan of poping my bait up a couple inches. i'll keep in touch, nice to meet you! 99% of canadian fishermen still ignore carp as a garbage fish, oh well leaves them much easier for me to catch!
Thank you for the carp info Bob, I appreciate it. They certainly are fat buggers! What bait do you use to catch them? The Chinese carp was introduced into the canals in Miami-Dade a few years ago (they thought they would control the water weeds, but they didn't), and are HUGE. They are hard to catch, and I never found a bait they would even look at.
