He caught it in the Poultney River, which dumps into Lake Champlain. It so far is the biggest one we've ever caught.

The LCI fishing tournament on Lake Champlain VT is the Oldest & Largest freshwater fishing tournament in the United States.
Patrick Dupont of VT won huge with the oldest trout ever caught on Lake Champlain. A new record!!!

i get lucky sometimes a drag in a hog but not often!!!!! ive been working on fish fry's this year..... ive caught about 60 channel cats so far using salted mackerel that i buy at jungle jims. you can buy it in fillet form or whole ones in a bag and cut them up....what type of fishing do you like to do????

That is a very great idea! You don't want to get your hair cinged off.. Hehehe If it's lightning, I don't mess around with it.. But rain, well hey, I have caught some big fish in the rain. 8 & 9 pound walleyes in the rain...
