I grew up in Texas. When I was in college, Huntsville, Texas, we bought a small house on a private lake. That started a 19 month everyday fishing adventure for me. So, I have been fishing for over 50 years. In 1976 we moved to the Northwest I have fished for and caught every variety of sport fish that inhabits the waters of the Northwest including bass, trout, steelhead, salmon, walleye, and stergon. Primarily I fish for both smallmouth and largemouth bass. My hands down favorite time of the year to fish is fall.
Gorgeous fish as always. Looks like you've got the technique down up there. Unfortunately I haven't touched a fishing pole in over two weeks. School's started back up and it's not leaving me much time off.
Those are some pretty nice fish. I'll have to make a trip up there sometime. We had a pretty slow time with fishing Potholes, but at least we caught fish this time. They were small, but it was refreshing to catch something. We fished the face of the damn and in front of the resort using 5" green Yammamoto grubs and drop shot some cut tail senkos. I'll post pics when I get them from my girlfriend.
I've been fishing Clear Lake(Pierce County), Tanwax, Alder, Whitman, and Swofford Pond. Been doing pretty good with Tuesday being my best bag of the year so far 5 fish 19 lbs 4 oz. A mixed bag of 4 smallmouth and 1 largemouth.
