ah. I found them on the cabela's website... okay. :D
remember I'm a newb when I ask... What are crappie thunders?
All we've used is minnows ... which the catfish love... lol. i'm going to try these worm like little things I found at Cabela's on Friday... they had Crappie on the package. :D
I got 4 crappie keepers with Roger catching the biggest Sat.. first time at Lake Arlington.
LOTS of catfish there... was hoping to catch more Crappie. But we'll no doubt give that lake another go, too.
Thanks! Seems catching one 'broke the ice'.. cause yesterday it seemed all we could catch were catfish LOL.
Not any as big as this one though... :D

We bought a boat last fall, and this is a great activity for us both to do together. :)

- Husband prefers to go for Crappie, but Bass are more fun for me.
I know how to tight line, and bobber fish with minnows, but am interested in learning about the different lures out there for bass fishing.

- Thanks. Everything will get better, I just know it will. I am currently working on my Masters degree so that I can find a better living for us both... and I am so proud and thankful to have my daughter - she is so awesome and well rounded...I don't think I had much to do with that tho, I think God just made her that way :D... Happy fishing, and I hope the weather calms down for you out in Texas, we have had storms here to and strange temperatures... but I know that the heat wave is a comin'..... have fun out there - get a tan while doing it! :D

- You bet! I guess it is a redneck idea, but somebody had to try it...LOL! I miss my boat, I had a 15 foot pontoon fisher... it was SO VERY NICE..! When you go through a divorce you make rash decisions, and I got the boat and the motorcycle... but sold them both - dumb, I know... now my daughter and I are fishin from the banks and remoniscing bout the boat - LOL! Welcome aboard, I hope you do well out there! :)
