About Me
I am a fishing fanatic with a wonderful husband who loves to fish as much as I do. We love to fish Nags Head Pier and have been going there every June for the past 7 years. The past 3 years, we have gone down in the fall for a long weekend, which has really paid off - in October 2006, we both caught our first citation Red Drums and this past October, I caught my first citation King Mackarel. The rest of the time, we fish Smith Mountain Lake in our boat, always looking for an awesome catch. I owe my love of fishing to my father, as he started taking me fishing at a very young age. If only he could see me now!
How many times a year do you go fishing?
50-100
What type of fishing do you primarily do?
Freshwater, Saltwater
What type of fish do you normally go for?

We have been fishing at Nags Headfor about 40 years now. Started when I was a kid. We did like to fish Jennetts pier, but now fish Nags Head and Avalon pier and the bridge. We have fished just about all of the places on the outter banks. I enjoy catching, trout, spanish, blues and whitting. But any fish will do. We do have a trip planned for this fall. We just moved back to Virginia from Minnesota and built a new home so I have passed on going to the outter banks for the past two years.

I like to fish Oregon Inlet and any pier fom Hatteras to Kill Devil Hills. I grew up in Elizabeth City so I used to go all the time, now I live in Raleigh so it's mostly freshwater now.

son of a whore, i just missed a bass on a bed that had to have been 10lb. i hooked him on my rod that had some old 14 lb fireline on it. he tried to run up under the dock, pulling drag... so i grabbed the spool to stop it and it broke of at the knot!!! then i had to walk back home because i didn't have anything to tie back on. all i brought was the rod. i am going back right now...

i have caught them from the cooper river and the folly beach pier in charleston, but i would love to get a carolina skip and get into the jetties and creeks down in the marshes, i usually use either shirmp or squid for bait, but i have caught them on yellow rubber shirmp and evens worms! when i move back to the charleston area and i get enough money, i am buying me a boat so i can go out and hook a monster! alreadey have my rod and reels set up!!
