About Me
I enjoy my family, friends and of course fishing! You'll find me fishing most weekends at either Kentucky Lake, Lake Barkley or Cheatham Reservoir. I have been an avid recreational angler most all my life. For the past couple of years i have been hitting the local tournament scene as well. The outdoors has always been a big part of my life. Spiritually speaking... I need it and fishing has always provided it.
How many times a year do you go fishing?
over 100
What type of fishing do you primarily do?
Freshwater
What type of fish do you normally go for?
Large Mouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, Striper, White Bass, Crappie, Cat fish, and occasionally Northern Pike, Yellow perch and trout when I visit family. It all started way back in Big Sky Country with trout, perch, whitefish, silver salmon and such. There isn't much I wouldn't fish for if given the opportunity.

Heres my perspective on eating fish. Lagremouth Bass and Smallmouth is catch and release but i tend to eat bluegill once in a while and crappie is delicious.

175 boats entered the tournament! Big… Continue

Last Fridays Hawg

I've been waiting to go to work all weekend. I know it sounds kind of weird. But I've been waiting because I have access to a PC with blue tooth capabilities. You see I forgot to charge my camera's batteries before my fishing trip with my two youngest hildren last Friday. That left me with my cellphone for any pictures.

We had gotten a late start that morning and did not put into KY lake until about 8:30 AM. We were going to try and jig a few crappie out of the lake. It was windy and boat contr… Continue
