About Me
I'm a single parent from Miami who loves to fish. I think my daughter only likes it because I love it so much. But it that since we have moved to Houston, we haven't gone as much. So now I've made it a promise to change that

Hey waddup! I have only gone fishing about 3 or 4 times this year... but I am planning on hitting the water this weekend finally. Not sure where I'll go, might paddle around Christmas Bay in my kayak, or maybe even try Keith Lake over in Sabine... The past few times I've been out, I've paddled off the beach for bull reds. I'm hunting slot-sized reds so I can take some home this time. :)

I heard the Texas City dike was badly damaged. May be a while before we are able to fish for the big ones with out a boat.

Man, I am so bummed out about what's happened to the coastal areas from High Island down to Freeport... those were my main fishing areas. It doesn't look like the whole coastal area is going to be accessible for quite a while until the cleanup is done. I haven't heard much about how the Sabine area fared, have you?

I understand the Matagorda bay area didn't get hit bad, but I don't know that area that well. Fishing is gonna be messed up around here for a while, and that's probably just what a lot of folks around here could use... a little stress relief.

Yep, in town. Didn't lose power at all, but just hanging out at the house, not getting out in the crazy traffic. Still got plenty of food and water, so we're good for now.

What a wild, crazy ride that was Friday night/early saturday morning!
