All the trout took roe bags, that's the first rainbow i ever caught ice fishing and the first fish i ever caught on roe! chuffed. The was 18 guys fishing there, only me and another 2 guys got into them, 5 fish between us, they were catching more fri morn. got a pic of one, beutifull healthy silver fish. I'll prob give it a go after work one eve this week(prob tomorow!), that ice wont last long!

I stuffed mine, fried up onion, garlic, mushrooms, pancetta (posh italian bacon) and some 1cm bread cubes. i stuffed the fish with that and then in foil in the oven. Soooooooooo good! i sound like a gourmet chef, but i got that recipie out of a magazine.

At 6:11pm on January 13, 2010, chris said…: heading up onto the bruce peninsula with elz and her dad, he's gonna take us wally fishing! maybe i'll finally catch a good one. we fished this lake once before last yr, just me and the old man, we lost the biggest walleye i ever saw right in the hole! i'm gonna land one this time. the main lake is ready at simcoe, big bay point and innisfill beach park are putting out the whities and lakers. wanna head there 23-34th? i'm tempted to play hookie from work mid week to be honest!
