I go for most freshwater type. This, amazingly, was the first year I went for trout. The time spent on Heritage Pond has been more rewarding than I ever thought fishing could be. I'm looking for more adventure; connecting with a boat person would be a new highlight.
Hi, I'm Shawn. I live to fish. I love to learn the new ways to do it. I'm looking for all the different places to fish in the near Dubuque area. Th maybe far flung places that might take some travel in order to chase the wily little critters might be swingable. People to fish with and where you-they-like fishing are my sought out interests.
How passionate are you about fishing?

walleye yesterday by the dam--on boat. had one on but it got off at surface. pal had 3 on, landed one non keeper. i may hit the shores later today after picking up shoreline trash, or heritage pond for trout and throw em back. 543-1610.
was outta town--nope, no boat yet anyway. bass have been slow but maybe they will pick up with weather. I may not be able to sneak out yet cuz I'm bizzy with work and usually go during day along the river...let ya know if I get free. Lures get pricey but ya get bigger fish.
Looks like we're the same age..do you work around here? I work at home so I can fish during day . I use lures pretty much for bass, but may need to delve into other types of fish when bass aren't biting. In bass club tonite I only had 2 but lost one. Good way to get hooked up with a boater--sometimes they need partners. tonite was last tourney of year, but I'll still get out, and ice fished a few times last year at heritage.
