Even with the heavy snowfall in the past few days, the ice conditions are extremely poor and unsafe. Mother Nature decided to dump one last snowstorm (hopefully) on us and we received about 12-16 inches of heavy mushy snow. Luckily for us, this is pretty much the norm around here and we just keep looking forward to May 15 and the spring Walleye Opener.
