Trout, Bass, Sunfish, Redfish. I fish the Colorado Rocky Mountains for trout every Summer and It's a blast. I usually fly fish with a Stimulator dry fly and sometimes drop a Bead Head Prince or Caddis Nymph behind it. The Colorado River (Texas version) here is Austin is great for River Bass, fly fishing with Streamers and Poppers is very productive.
I also fish on a little private lake West of Austin sometimes. I mainly use Texas rigged plastics on this body of water and it proves to be effective. Central Texas offers a number of good fishing spots.

Charles Lee Peeler III, Producer. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin in 2004 with a degree in Radio/TV/Film, I landed a job in Durango, Colorado producing TV Commercials. While in Durango I created The Angling Channel so I could make Fishing Videos and distribute them Online. So far it's good I get to travel and fish with top guides. I have lived in Crested Butte, Colorado; Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Durango, Colorado over the recent years all so I could Fly Fish for Trout. Now I live in Austin, Texas and mainly fish for Bass and Panfish. The Angling Channel.com - documentaries, news and info. www.TheAnglingChannel.com
Hey, have you ever fished around Bluff, UT? I stayed a summer in Cortez, CO, and visited Durango a few times. I love the mountains and the high desert. I'm down in SW Florida now, getting my first shot at tropical speices like Redfish, Snook and Tarpon (my number one goal this year). I'd love to bring my boyfriend to visit UT, but his condition is there has to be some fishable water nearby, so any recommendations for trout streams in the Four Corners region?
Thanks for the invite. You got a pretty sweet site over at TAC. I managed to pick up a few nice trout in the Guadalupe when I lived in San Marcos. Now I'm back at the coast. I enjoy shooting fishing vids as well, check some of them out if you get a chance. Haller if your headed this way and need a camera crew.
Would love to watch your video but I am using dial up and in order to watch one it would take all day. I am adding a link on my blog to you. Have a look. http://xstreemfishing.blogspot.com Tight lines and screaming drags
