I would have to say a rapala, twitching it on the surface down to a couple of feet and letting it pause just a second. I have caught hundreds of bass on this method. And also a arkie jig, for BIG BASS!
I've caught them 23-inches before. Carp are my favorite fish to fish for.

- It really depends on the time of year, Tom, but in general my favorite lure is a jig.
