The spinnerbait may be versatile but it can not produce fish after fish. Bass get used to spinnerbaits and most hard baits quite easily, but it's harder for one to quit eating a soft plastic. A 6" plastic worm, Texas-rigged will catch more bass than…

I would have to say a rapala, twitching it on the surface down to a couple of feet and letting it pause just a second. I have caught hundreds of bass on this method. And also a arkie jig, for BIG BASS!

Yup Tom, catch n release bassin is the name of the game. Not that I think it is evil for someone to keep a few now then to eat. I choose pan-fish like crappie and white-bass for eating. How about you?

4 or 5 inch trick sticks in either green pumpkin or watermelon with purple flake texas style. Most of the pigs i find are under tree branches touching the water. I just skip cast up in there and they usually crush it as its falling.
