Fishing the Channel Islands

We had a great day fishing on the Seabiscuit and got a chance to catch some nice White Sea Bass. We ended up with three on the boat and lost a few and full limits of nice rockfish, reds and lings. Another great day I hope you can join us one of these days.

5-15-2012 CALIFORNIA BOYS CATCHING RED FISH IN NEW ORLEANS

Today I had the pleasure of fishing with Eric , Jake ,Larry and Sudeep from California who were in New Orleans to enjoy some good ,fun and fishing. With the tide on the switch around the bite was slow but we managed to get the six red they wanted to eat then fished catch and release. 5-11-12 NEW ORLEANS RED FISHING AT ITS FINEST

Last 2 day have been fun . Yesterday I had Mr. Joey and his family in for a great day of fishing. Lunker Hunters

Just want to thank the club members that helped out at the Veterans home putting new line  on all the poles and making sure they work. Getting ready for their first tournament on May 16. at 9am to 2pm. then of course the fish fry afterwards.Its the least we can do for the people that gave us the freedom so we can go fishing when we want.

4-16-2012 WINDY WEEK OF CATCHING RED FISH.

April 16th, 2012

The last week hasn’t been what you would call ideal conditions . With a system moving in from the West early in the week. We have been dealing with high winds and low tides. Thur.April 5 Club meeting at Leisure Village.Meeting and swap meet.So get your old stuff that you don't want and bring it to the meeting with your initials and price on it.Setup at 6:30,meeting at 7pm.Tom will give a talk and the lake of the month will be Wolf Lake.
