NEW ORLEANS CATCHING RED FISH AND MARDI GRAS 2015- NEW ORLEANS FISHING REPORT 1/27/15

My Ohio crew Mr Brian and Mr Mark with some red fish we caught Saturday . The wind was blowing hard with a cold  front blowing through and the temps dropping. It was a little windy so I opted to go into a couple of bayous to get out the wind. we caught some very healthy red fish and a couple bass. 2015 NEW ORLEANS RED FISH REPORT- 1/12/15 CATCHING RED FISH AFTER A BIG COLD FRONT

This weekend we had a pretty good size cold front come in. 20mph North West winds dropped the temps of the air and water. It also push a bunch of water out the marsh causing some red fish to be relocated from their lil holes in the marsh and into some deeper water. The fish are running in groups

I got out on Wednesday to start checking some areas and getting ready for the busy season ahead. I have fished at least 3 days a week since November but a lot of those days were spent crappie fishing and filling the freezer for the summer. With the water temp being between 48 and 51 degrees I had a good idea of where to start looking with the amount of grass we still have.
