Took Mr. Bo Petru fishing on Fayette County Reservoir Monday 4-26-10, We got out on the water slightly before sunrise and tried to find some top water action. Well we didn't, but we kept tossing till there was enough light to see and relocated to the North end of the Lake since winds were mild out of the North but forecasted to be 10mph out of the South later in the morning, Bo snagged a good fish off the point while tossing a Yellow Magic topwater bait but after a short fight the Bass broke… Continue

Fifty years ago, anglers had very limited information to help them do what they loved.
Guesswork and a little luck helped them to decide when it was best to go fishing. Today, with the
help of the computer, there is so much information that the average
weekend angler can use when planning a fishing trip. Hundreds of Web
sites and programs have been designed to fill some needed niche in the
fishing world. Some you have to pay for; others, you do not.
I appreciate… Continue

Had three charters this week. We fished around Sebastian averaging 125 fish a day. Trout, Snook, Reds, Blues, and Jack Crevalle. Top water early in the morning with top dogs and super spooks working best. Later in the day suspending x raps and jerk baits on the edge of the flat or in the mangroves produced many bites. This past week the fishing here has really turned on.

The wind is comming out of the SSW at about 5MPH so I want to get out of the wind ( I hate the wind). I have 2 areas I like to fish so I'm trying to make up my mind North end or South end of the lake. Suns comming up, minds made up, North end--Lets go!. I get to my spot… Continue
