Let's face it, spinnerbaits do not fit inside plano boxes. they take up room, the skirts can get cut off when you shut the box (and they melt in the sun). lots of companies make special spinnerbait storage, you can find quite a few here:
or you can take the cheap, easy, and often time free route and use an old CD case.
they fit in quite well, don't slide around, the cd… Continue

Whenever someone like me asks a question I'm lucky if I get 2 replies.. I mean I'm a really nice guy I don't understand how some people get so many replies with a stupid question, and when I'm serious no one cares and no one replies this has been bugging me SO… Continue

Very windy Saturday and only caught 2 bass. I had a lot to do this weekend, so I haven't been able to spend as much time on the lake as I have wanted. I hope to get back out later today after the Titans game. My friend, Billy caught a nice bass Friday afternoon from my yard before I got off from work. I may try to post a pic later. .He was using spinner bait, I think a $1 Wal-Mart special.
back on the lake this afternoon. caught 2 small bass and a large brim. slow weekend. i hope… Continue

Check out the pics of the "Legal" sized snook that this dude Tim caught tonite on the bridge. Took pic, measured, and ASSUMED he was gona toss her back, and he didn't. I was like devastated. The bite was on, I had 4 awesome runs, but I decide to leave. What is wrong with me, does anyone else feel this way when they see people keep fish????

This past weekend my fishing buddy and I went up to Northern MN muskie fishing. We got out of town later than we expected on Friday and I wasn't sure if we would have time to make it to my cabin and then get on the water. I'd heard some real good things about my girlfriend's lake which was on the way so we decided to stop and get at least an hour or two on the lake before it got dark.
We rolled out of the landing just past 4:30. No more than 10 minutes in my partner had a nice fish strike… Continue

Well here we are on October 7th in Southern Ontario, Canada. Haven’t been on the water for 3 weeks because of a nasty cold that I couldn’t seem to shake. Fall is definitely started to fill the air. The leaves on the trees are turning to beautiful reds and orange and yellow. Last night the temp. went down to 0.( 32 F for my American friends) It’s a balmy 14 (58 F) today. We have no intention of putting away the boat yet. Soon the monster Walleye will start coming in from… Continue

I got the boat wet for probably the last time this season. I went to Alabama to fish with my brother but it wasn't a very fruitful trip for fish, but the camping and time with Greg was well worth it.
The lakes in my area have been drained for the season, so I will probably net put the boat in again until they fill up which will be in the spring, unless the drought keeps up, then who knows. I gave it a good washing today after I got back, and now I get to work on the reels and rods.… Continue

Whoo hoo!!!!! I had my first real catch today at Lake T-Ge, and it took me only 20 minutes. I caught my second one about an hour and a half later but, for fishing in the middle of the day as hot as it is here in podunk Grand Bay, Alabama, I think I did real good. I am going to post my pictures from todays excursion as soon as I cool off and drink a few gallons of ice cold water. I have more to say but I think I'll just relax for a few. I have learned that next time I go fishing I will bring… Continue
