New Orleans Fishing Report 11/28/13 Thanksgiving Day Red Fish Round Up !!!

Another couple days on the water fishing and more customers go home happy with their catch from Lafitte, Louisiana . If you don't know where that's at . Its just 30 min south of New Orleans  where I call home. Yesterday and today were both successful days of fishing in New Orleans despite what some would think with the cold temps. My trip cancelled yesterday but Capt. Roy's crew came out and smashed the red fish quick fast and in a hurry . Thanks Guys . Today I had Ice in the boat till 9am…

Late November and still catching red fish here in Lafitte ,Louisiana just south of  New Orleans. This time of year we never know what Mother Nature is gonna hand us, so we take it one day at a time . New Orleans Fishing Report 11/7/13 Fishing Red Fish in New Orleans, Louisiana

Ok so here it is November already and the cold fronts are blowing in from time

to time dropping water levels and temps . But That’s not gonna stop us from

catching our share of the fish here in New Orleans . Capt Roy and I have been

Tilapia Becomes a teaching tool!

     While busy camping and fishing over a perfect weekend in Oct. 2013, I hooked into and landed a 3-½ lb. Tilapia that measured over 17 inches.

     This may not seem large to you, but if you have ever caught this type of fish, then you know what a struggle it is just getting it to the shore and into a bucket before you can think about it becoming dinner!
