Catch & Release

I am a strictly catch and release angler. There are a number of reasons for this. First of all, with the exception of fish and chips down at the pub, I don't like eating fish. My father always told me that, if I killed a fish (or any other animal for that matter), I had an ethical obligation to clean it and eat it.

Baitcasting vs. Fly Fishing

I recently had an opportunity to spend a wekend bass fishing with a good friend who also happens to be a staunch fly-fisherman. I was interested in comparing the two techniques and their effectiveness on bass.
