So officially we are back!! Huge gusto last year that was interrupted with much larger issues, we weren't able to keep up our end of the bargain....I totally have to give kudos to Chris (our own Muskie killer) for keeping the forum going. I am pumped to see so many new members and we are re lining our reels this week and getting our maps out to get our plans in order. Lots of pre planning so we can give you guys the very best info on the local hot spots. If any of you are interested in guiding us on a local spot, send me a message and let me know!! Remember, no boats.......shore or bridge fishing only. Our kids are getting rev'ed up and as you can see I have posted some new pics of them catching some great fish :) Olivia has a true gift for walleye and pike and was catching them like noodles in her soup and Logan is a numbers man and pulled 17 walleyes in 45 minutes!! Jessie prefers to watch her lure's action and I bet she can tell any one of you what the best retrieve speed is to accentuate action for each lure. My kids know more about me and catch way more than I have caught.....but honestly, I am proud to helm the boat and their dad is just as happy to deal with the motor :) See you all soon and better get ready for a great year of fishin!

Oh and dont forget, suggestions are ALWAYS welcome....dont be afraid to get involved!

I AM STOKED!!! You say when and where and we are game for sure....there is such a good carp crew in Ontario that I think it would be of great interest and I am inexperienced with them....looking forward to the lesson!! Let me know what we should pack and what is working for the area :)

I'll take you guys out. i'm moving from ontario to bc mid may so i'll offer to take you out late april early may on a carp fishing day, i don't mind giving up a hot spot seeing as i'm leaving anyways!
may's the best time of year for a true giant as the super big fat chicks are coming out of lake ontario's depths to find warm shallow water to spawn. Last yr's biggest for me were a 32 and a 37lber (caught 30 mins apart!) I've heard acurate reports of 50's coming out in these parts! we can expect to catch a fair few (we should average 2-3 fish an hour each) So make sure your arms are up to the challenge! For a look at what you can expect, see if pat still has that vid on his page he made of his son aiden landing a 14lber, his biggest ever fish! you should see how hard these guys can pull...all from shore.
