Can't belive that no one has talked about the amazing muskie fishing in the Kawathas. Pegion lake right outside Bobcaygeon is to die for can get a 45 incher plus every weekend

The Kawartha lakes have been popular destinations for Bass and Walleye for years, but can anyone tell me where to find some good trout creeks? I need something to keep me occupied until Walleye opens.

what kind of fish do you attract in Scugog?

I fish Stoney, Lingham, Deer Rock, and Scugog. Fishing good in all alkes if you were and what to use I like Cranks and Spinner Baits.

Hey We are not all gentlemen here!
I have not been to rice lake in a while, but the fishing there is amazing. My dad used to do bass tourney's there... so the bass are insane. Early summer is the best time, and then once again when fall is just coming.

Gentlemen, good day! I've been fishing Moore/East Moore Lake for a few seasons now and find the Perch there get extremely aggressive in the late spawning season. That being said, you can surely catch a lunker over there! Anyone fish Gull, Bob, Kashawigamog Lake? What types of fish can you expect to find predominately throughout the Kawarthras and in which areas (or lakes in general) do any you suggest (at what type of year)?

Grew up fishing Pigeon, Buckhorn, and Rice Lake mostly. Some of the best fishing I have done was in the Kawartha Area (back when no poaching fishermen came through). I hear it is not the same anymore...
